A delegation from a Chinese biotechnology company has visited Anambra State to discuss innovative solutions for tuberculosis control with the government.
The team visited the Commissioner for Health, Dr Afam Obidike at the Jerome Udoji state secretariat Awka to explore possible areas of collaboration in the state’s health sector.
The leader of the delegation Mr Daniel Ta, said the team came to present effective TB solutions and share how they could strengthen the fight against the disease.
He disclosed that the company is engaging governments across the world with various TB solutions.
Welcoming the delegation the Commissioner for Health, Dr Afam Obidike, thanked them for their interest in contributing to healthcare improvement in the state.
Dr Obidike assured them that Anambra State Government is open to innovative health solutions and meaningful partnerships that can enhance disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for residents.
Radio Nigeria Correspondent Uche Ndeke reports that the visit offered both parties an opportunity to exchange ideas on strengthening healthcare delivery and disease control efforts in Anambra State.
