As the world marks World Youth Skills Day, the wife of the Anambra State Governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo, has called on young people to invest in skills development, creativity, and lifelong learning as pathways to self-reliance and community transformation.
Mrs Nonye Soludo emphasized that equipping youths with practical knowledge and abilities positions them as job creators, problem solvers, and agents of positive change.
She linked the celebration to ongoing efforts in promoting healthy living, education, innovation, and entrepreneurship across the state.
She urged young persons in Anambra State and beyond to embrace continuous skill acquisition, noting that every skill mastered contributes to greater confidence, productivity, and prosperity.
Mrs Nonye Soludo described talents as the greatest assets of the youth and stressed that the future belongs to those who prepare adequately for it.
The message aligns with broader state initiatives aimed at empowering the younger generation through capacity building and sustainable development programs including the 1 Youth 2 Skills initiative of the Governor Soludo administration.
