The wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs Nonye Soludo has inaugurated the Anambra Skilled Ladies Program, describing it as her personal gift in support to purposeful women during the global month dedicated to celebrating womanhood.
At the ceremony at Government House Awka, Mrs Soludo said the Programme is a carefully designed entrepreneurial initiative that would provide young women with training in high-demand, lucrative technical skills to foster self-reliance and prosperity.
According to her, the Programme originally planned for fifty participant was doubled to one hundred in response to the overwhelming interest and passion demonstrated by women in the initiative.

Covers training in critical skill areas like Solar and CCTV Installation and Repairs, Air Conditioning (AC) Repair and Maintenance, Tricycle (Keke) Repair, and Painting.
