A middle aged man is now in Police custody for causing the death of his own child in Awka , Anambra State.
The incident occurred at Kwata Slaughter axis of Awka.
According to eye witness, the man was chasing his wife with a matchet when the wife fell down leading to the death of the child who she was carrying .
Report says the man hails from Ezeagu Local Government Area in Enugu State but resides in Awka.
