The Coordinator National Youth Service Corps Anambra State Mrs Pauline Ojisua has urged Corps Members posted to the State to uphold the virtues of discipline, patriotism, and professionalism as they proceed to their places of primary assignment.
Mrs Ojisua made the call at the closing ceremony of the 2026 Batch B stream 11 Orientation Course held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Unity Permanent Orientation Camp Umuawulu/ Mbaukwu Awka South Local Government Area.
The State Coordinator noted that the Orientation Course had exposed the Corps members to drills,lectures, Skills Acquisition And Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) as well as Sports , Cultural and social Activities all aimed at instilling discipline, patriotism teamwork, leadership and productivity skills.
Mrs Ojisua particularly enjoined the Corps members to take the post Camp SAED programme seriously to develop their chosen skills for self reliance and also contribute meaningfully to their host communities through the Community Development Service CDS
“Serve with diligence, humility and professionalism.
Your conduct and performance during the service year can create opportunities for your future. “
She charged them to strictly observe the NYSC bye laws throughout their service year and particularly cautioned them against unnecessary travels and night journeys.
Mrs Ojisua also commended the Anambra State Government for its support to the Scheme.
