The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Anambra State Command, has arrested two suspects for criminal conspiracy and illegal dealing in petroleum products.
The Corps also impounded one truck loaded with about 4,000 litres of suspected adulterated Automotive Gas Oil (AGO).
The suspects are Jonas Nwokpoko and Chinweze Iloh .
A statement by the Head, Media and Tactical Operations of the Command , Edwin Okadigbo indicates that the operatives of the corps arrested the suspects at Boromeu Road, near Limca Road, Onitsha.
According to the statement the arrest was based on credible intelligence by the Command’s Anti-Vandalism Squad.
It notes that investigation is ongoing to determine the
the extent of their activities of the suspects and identify the syndicate behind the impounded truck.
