The newly appointed Secretary to the Anambra State Government, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake has assumed office with thirteen other key officials.Governor Chukwuma Soludo performed the swearing -in ceremony at Government House, Awka.Other officials who took oath of office included Mrs Ngozi Iwouno who will serve as Head of Service while Mr Joachin Anetoh takes charge as Principal Secretary to the Governor.Doctor Ben Nwankwo assumes duty as the Chief of Staff to the Governor while Professor Frank-Collins Okafor is the State Chief of Protocol.The Governor also Appointed Mr Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, as Attorney – General of the State.Other appointees includedMr Christian Aburime who will remain as Chief Press Secretary (CPS), and Doctor Vincent Okechi mounts the saddle as Deputy Chief of Staff while Miss Ngozi Okoye will serve as Deputy State Chief of Protocol .Doctor Godwin Nnadozie will be serving as Special Adviser on Medicals and Pharmaceuticals While miss Chinwe Okoli is the Special Adviser Business Innovation and Business Incubation and CEO, Solution Innovation District and Professor Ebuka Nwankwo will serve as Special Adviser, Special project Evaluation and Monitoring .Mr Ken Emeakayi is the Special Adviser on Community Security while Mr Izuchukwu Okafor was reappointed as the Commissioner for finance.The oath of office and allegiance was administered to the Attorney-General of the state Mr Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, by the Solicitor General of the state, Mrs Ngozi Iwouno who is now the Head of Service at the event held at Government House, Awka. The Attorney General, Mr Tobechukwu Nweke now administered the oath of office to other 13 appointees.Speaking shortly after the ceremony, Governor Soludo congratulated the newly appointed officials for being found worthy of the selection even as he advised them to carry out their statutory duties deligently.The governor welcomed them in his second term of what he described as the team Solution 2.0, saying the team is geared toward delivering on the administration’s policy goals, while hinting of more batches to join the team .Correspondent Ben Ilechukwu reports that the governor also urged the appointees to abide by their oath of office and discharge their duties as they have been appointed to do so.
