Governor Chukwuma Soludo, of Anambra State has congratulated the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her birthday.
In a goodwill message issued by his Chief Press Secretary,Mr Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo described the First Lady as a woman of grace, conviction and compassion, whose years of service have touched many families across the country.
The Governor commended Senator Tinubu’s contributions as a former senator, particularly her advocacy for women, children and families.
He said she had continued the same commitment to service as First Lady through the Renewed Hope Initiative, which, according to him, has provided support to vulnerable Nigerians across the country.
Governor Soludo recalled the First Lady’s recent visit to Anambra State, where she commissioned the National Community Food Bank Programme for the South-East, aimed at addressing child malnutrition.
He also noted that she commissioned an Information and Communications Technology Centre at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, and joined the Anambra State First Lady, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, to commence an empowerment programme for five thousand beneficiaries across the twenty-one local government areas of the state.
Professor Soludo expressed appreciation for the First Lady’s interventions, saying they demonstrate a commitment to improving the livelihoods, skills and future of Nigerians.
He wished Senator Oluremi Tinubu many more years of good health, happiness and fulfilment in her service to the nation.
