The Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Doctor Nonye Soludo, has described this year’s Mothering Sunday celebration by the Roman Catholic Church as a moment defined by compassion, love, and service to the vulnerable.

Speaking after a visit to an orphanage, Doctor Soludo said the occasion went beyond the usual festivities, as she spent time sharing laughter, warmth, and hope with children at the facility.

She noted that the experience served as a flashback to the true essence of motherhood, caring for those in need and bringing joy to the less privileged.

According to her, acts of kindness, remain the most meaningful ways to impact lives, stressing that the happiness derived from such gestures was immeasurable.

Doctor Soludo added that the fulfilment she experienced during the outreach, underscored the importance of compassion-driven celebrations.

She also extended her well wishes to the public, expressing the hope that citizens would continue to offer succour to the needy in their environments.
