The Anambra State Police Command says it has successfully resolved the case of the alleged missing vehicle belonging to a kidnapped victim, which sparked public outcry after a video on it went viral on social media.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement, explains that the Command’s investigation clarified the circumstances surrounding the matter and ensured that the vehicle was recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
The statement notes that efforts are ongoing to conclude other aspects of the investigation in line with due process.
It also commends human rights activists, social media handlers, and concerned citizens for closely following the investigative proceedings and for their interest in justice and accountability.
