Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command attached to the Ozubulu Division have arrested two female suspects over a reported case of a missing 16-year-old girl, Miss Oluebube Chukwuma, in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the state.The suspects, Uzoma Nwabueze and Precious Monday, were arrested following a tip-off.In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, disclosed that during interrogation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in the disappearance of the minor. They further revealed that the victim is currently in Ghana.According to the statement, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has directed the immediate transfer of the suspects to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Awka, for a discreet and comprehensive investigation.The investigation is aimed at ascertaining the circumstances surrounding the relocation of the minor and identifying other person(s) who may be connected to the case.
