Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has assured Corps members deployed to the State for their orientation course of adequate welfare, safety and comfort.
He gave the assurance at the swearing in ceremony for 2025 NYSC Batch C Corps members deployed to Permanent Orientation Camp Afikpo.
Prince Nwifuru represented by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youths and Sports, Mr Hilary Obiesie charged them to see their service as an opportunity for leadership growth and nation building and urged them to make every moment count during their orientation course.
The State Coordinator, Mrs Folunke Oladeinde said Orientation Course marks the beginning of a transformative journey for Corps members and advised them to approach it with discipline, enthusiasm and willingness to serve.
Correspondent Amechi Odo reports that one thousand, four hundred and ninety five Corps members took oath of allegiance administered by the Chief Judge of the State represented by Justice Nicholas Nwode.
