Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has conveyed his special festive felicitations to the citizens of the state and indeed all Christians across Nigeria on the happy occasion of the celebration of Christmas.
In his goodwill message, Governor Soludo stated that Christmas, which is a commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, represents the embodiment of hope, love, peace, and redemption, values that resonate significantly with collective aspirations for a better society and nation.
Governor Soludo reminded Christians that the season transcends festive celebrations,saying that it is a profound call to reflect on the virtues of compassion, selflessness, and unity that defined the life and teachings of Christ.
The Governor enjoined all Christians in this season of joy and reflection to practice the true essence of Christmas by extending love and generosity to those around them ,particularly the less privileged in the communities.
He affirmed that by sharing blessings with the needy and bringing hope to the despairing, the acts of kindness mirror the spirit of the season and strengthen the bonds that unite us as one people.
Governor Soludo also encouraged christians to remember the nation, in prayers this season by praying for peace, prosperity, and progress in the land, and for divine wisdom for leaders at all levels of governance to steer the ship of state towards greater heights.
Governor Soludo wishes to reassure all residents and visitors to Anambra State of a safe and secure environment throughout this festive period and beyond, wishing all a Merry Christmas of abundant blessings, good health and a Happy New Year filled with dreams and greater hope.
