The Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Anambra State, Ozo Jeff Nweke, has congratulated Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his re-election victory in the November 8 gubernatorial poll.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Awka, Ozo Nweke described the outcome of the election as the true reflection of the people’s will, commending the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a credible and transparent process.
He noted that democracy thrives when the people’s voices are respected and their votes count, adding that the peaceful nature of the election was a positive sign for the state’s political development.
“I wholeheartedly accept the results as declared by INEC. The people have spoken, and their decision must be respected.
“I congratulate Professor Soludo and wish him more wisdom and greater strength to take Anambra to an enviable height within the next four years,” Nweke stated.
He further urged other contestants and political parties to join hands with the governor in moving the state forward, emphasizing that governance requires collective effort beyond party lines.
Ozo Nweke also expressed hope that the new administration would continue to prioritize good governance, security, and economic growth for the overall benefit of Anambra citizens.
