Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has awarded a full scholarship up to PhD level to Miss Chiazo Umeaniba, a student of Maria Regina Model Comprehensive Secondary School, Nnewi, in recognition of her outstanding performance in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The Governor made the announcement during the first anniversary celebration of Solution FunCity in Awka.

Solution FunCity, which was commissioned on June 28 last year, has become a popular multi-generational recreational facility serving residents across different social classes.
Governor Soludo described the project as a key component of his administration’s agenda to reposition Anambra from a mere transit state to a major destination for tourism and investment.
He noted that the success of Solution FunCity is only the beginning, as more infrastructure projects are underway.
The Governor highlighted the growing interest of investors in large-scale developments, including residential estates and industrial cities, and reiterated his commitment to building more such facilities to make Anambra a preferred destination.
The Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Solution FunCity, Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, commended Governor Soludo’s vision and described the facility as a testament to the delivery of dividends of good governance and thanked the public for their support.
The elated Miss Umeaniba expressed profound gratitude to the Governor for the kind gesture.
