Over one thousand elderly men and women from various parts of the country have benefited from the philanthropy of Reverend Father Ebube Muonso’s lifetime packages.
The philanthropic gesture include payment of monthly stipend and distribution of items to the beneficiaries in age brackets of 75 and above.
Performing the distribution of the items during an event at Nkwelle- Ezunanka in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State, Reverend Father Obimma, said it was aimed at providing support to elderly people in society.
Reverend Father Obimma pointed out that the presentation forms part of his cherished legacy of love, sharing with the needy and touching lives.
Reverend Father Obimma, popularly called “Fada Ebube Muonso”, observed that he had been providing for the welfare and physical needs of the less privileged ones in society for several years now.
He further disclosed that he had mapped out fifty million naira to cater for the hospital bills of patients and also initiated charity visits to correctional centres, and less privileged homes to touch the lives of the inmates and other persons in want.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Angelina Chukwurah, thanked Father Ebube Muonso, whom she noted had continued to alleviate their sufferings.
For her part, Mrs Irene Orefo lauded the benefactor for his love and support for the weak and needy in society .
