Members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Anambra State Chapter, have adopted the Spiritual Director of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke,Idemili North LGA Anambra State, Reverend Father Emmanuel Obimma,popularly known as( Father Ebube Mmonso). as their Spiritual Father.

The members, led by the State Chairperson of NAWOJ, Comrade Tochukwu Ifejika, announced the adoption during a Holy Mass held at Iwene Tansi Catholic Church,Umudioka, Anambra State.

NAWOJ, also presented a special plaque of recognition to the cleric.

Presenting the plaque, Comrade Ifejika said the decision of the association to adopt Reverend Father Obimma as Spiritual Father of the Anambra NAWOJ Chapter reflects members’ admiration for his spiritual impact, charismatic works, and dedication to the service of God and humanity.

She noted that the recognition was also in appreciation of his continued commitment to evangelism and encouragement of the faithful, while urging him to remain steadfast in his calling.

Responding, Reverend Father Obimma expressed gratitude to members of NAWOJ for the honour bestowed on him and assured them of his prayers and spiritual support.

He also advised women journalists to remain committed to professionalism, ethical standards, and objective reportage in the discharge of their duties.

Correspondent Oby Arinze reports that the Holy Mass featured a special prayer for all the members of NAWOJ.
